Terms of Service & Refund Policy
1.The service
HodoDecoder 3D ("the Service") is a web application for visualizing and analyzing atmospheric sounding data — observed radiosonde profiles and model-derived profiles — in two and three dimensions, available at app.hododecoder3d.com. By using the Service you accept these terms.
Safety disclaimer — read this one even if you read nothing else. HodoDecoder 3D is a visualization and analysis tool. It is not an official forecast product, does not issue watches or warnings, and must never be used as a substitute for official guidance. For decisions that affect life or property, always follow your national weather service (in the US, the National Weather Service and your local NWS office) and local emergency authorities. Data shown in the Service may be delayed, incomplete, or model-derived; the Service labels data provenance honestly but cannot guarantee availability or accuracy of upstream data sources.
2.Free tier and fair use
The free tier includes the visualization suite and a limited number of fresh data pulls per day (currently 15; data served from the Service's cache does not count). Limits may be adjusted to keep the Service healthy. Automated scraping, resale of data pulled through the Service, and attempts to circumvent rate limits are not permitted.
3.Pro subscription
The Pro plan (pricing at hododecoder3d.com/#pricing) adds unlimited data pulls, AI-assisted sounding analysis, and priority access to new capabilities. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, acting as merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, billing, invoices, and payment data; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. FullCourt Press LLC never sees or stores your card details.
4.Refunds
14-day money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with a Pro purchase for any reason, contact us within 14 days of the initial charge — or of any renewal charge — and we will refund it in full. No questions, no hoops.
To request a refund, email contact@fullcourtpressllc.com from the address used at checkout (or reply to your Paddle receipt, which reaches Paddle's buyer support directly). Refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
5.Cancellation
You can cancel at any time via the link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
6.Accounts and access tokens
Pro access is granted through an access token issued after purchase. Keep it private; you are responsible for activity under your token. We may revoke tokens involved in abuse (Section 2) — with a refund of the unused period if the revocation was not caused by a breach of these terms.
7.Intellectual property
The Service, including its visualization methods, interface, and documentation, is the property of FullCourt Press LLC. Weather data itself originates from public government sources (NOAA and international archives) and is not claimed. Images and analyses you export may be shared freely with attribution.
8.Warranty disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Upstream data archives fail, models are wrong, and networks drop — the Service may be interrupted or contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FullCourt Press LLC's total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim, and FullCourt Press LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including decisions made — or not made — based on data shown in the Service (see the safety disclaimer in Section 1).
9.Privacy
The Service stores the minimum needed to operate: entitlement records for Pro purchases (managed via Paddle) and, for Pro users, soundings you explicitly save. See the HodoDecoder 3D Privacy Policy for the full picture.
10.Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Questions: contact@fullcourtpressllc.com.
